Palermo, Western Sicily
VILLA WITH A GRANDIOSE PANORAMA OVER NATURE AND THE ANCIENT CITY
A peaceful scenic villa in the hills surrounding the city. Ideal for couples and individual travellers looking for comfort and attention to detail. The villa is strategically situated away from traffic, immersed in greenery and only a few kilometers from the most beautiful beach resorts on the coast of Palermo. The location offers a relaxing experience, while also allowing you to quickly reach the historic city of Palermo to visit it’s monuments and experience the lively and inviting atmosphere. You will find yourself in a position to explore the entire Gulf of Palermo from a little corner of paradise.
The windows of the villa open out onto a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape, like a theatrical overture: the mountains, the sea and the city are the companions of the scene. Vittorio Ugo, the famous architect who relished in the aesthetic rehabilitation of the city of Palermo, designed the villa managing to blend interior and exterior and creating the basis for a mix of unforgettable impressions.
Outside: the landscape is the undisputed master of the villa which stands in front of Monte Pellegrino, to the sides are the inlets of the coast, in the distance the Gulf of Aspra (a seaside resort), the cranes and the port of Palermo are an invitation to discover, but closest to the eye is the gulf of Mondello, a view which seems like a picture postcard at any time of day or night. The villa, the view over the landscape and the horizon are all joined together by a beautiful lawn and garden. An open space of about 150 square meters, mosaic swimming pool, lights and small outdoor seating area give the place a precious atmosphere of privacy and romance, especially in the anticipation of a gorgeous sunset.
Inside: the fact that the rooms are separated becomes almost undetectable as each space is connected to the other with seamless continuity which is pleasing to the eye. There is no lack of intimacy or corners for quiet reflection, like an ancient village, the views and the internal perspective recall the external landscape sections. Welcoming you, you will find a large open space perfect through to the smallest detail and materials: the brick flooring is synonymous with hospitality, a large table, lounges, fireplace and large library offer an inviting and elegant environment, coordinating everything in harmonious natural colors. Even the kitchen is extremely comfortable and equipped with all facilities and appliances to assist you in the preparation of mouth-watering meals: the hob facing the large window continues with a breakfast bar perfect for a long, lazy breakfast. A personal service and organisation of small receptions for a limited number of guests is also available on request.
The master bedroom with double bed is positioned in the most reserved area of the building, it is welcoming and friendly, the elegantly finished bathroom is adjacent equipped with all the necessary comforts.
The villa also has a fully independent temperature control system, making your stay very comfortable the whole year round.
The villa is logistically perfect for a holiday incorporating both seaside and culture. It is situated a few miles from the beach resorts of Mondello and Sferracavallo which in summer are full of life, bars, restaurants and easily accessible beaches with superb services to enjoy. The nearby nature reserve of Capo Gallo is recommended for lovers of wild unspoilt beaches. Thanks to convenient motorway access, you can drive easily towards Trapani, Messina and Catania: these historic cities are well worth a visit where you can discover never ending architectural jewels and authentic lifestyles.
